Hello again! Let me formally introduce myself. I'm Akash Menezes, currently living in Mumbai, India, where I work as a UX Designer. I'm driven by a passion for learning and a desire to grow constantly, both personally and creatively.
I firmly believe that we all are the sum total of our experiences. And hence life to me is about experiences – whether it’s discovering a new place, learning a new skill or sitting down and listening to elderly people share their life experiences, as it enriches my own understanding of life.
My design journey has been one of discovery. With an inclination toward creativity and art, I began in architecture school and later worked as a graphic designer, production designer, and now as a UX designer. I have always sought opportunities that allow me to gain more exposure in creative fields.
After exploring various roles in design, I found my true alignment when I was introduced to User Experience Design. This role demands a unique blend of empathy, creativity, and the ability to solve problems with simplicity. As a UX designer, I have the opportunity to address user challenges and streamline complex journeys, making their experiences more intuitive and seamless.
When I’m not in front of a laptop screen, I spend my leisure time watching movies, reading, or trying out indie covers on my guitar.
